Low Loader Driver for Plant Delivery Wagon

As a Low Loader Driver for Hubbway Plant Hire, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of our diverse range of construction equipment to and from various sites. This role requires an individual who is confident in loading, unloading, and securing a variety of plant machinery, adhering to our stringent health and safety standards.,

• Transport Plant Equipment: Safely operate a low loader to transport plant machinery such as telehandlers, excavators, rollers, and more.


• Load and Unload: Confidently and safely load and unload machinery, ensuring all items are securely fastened and compliant with safety regulations.


• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to our health and safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment. This includes wearing appropriate PPE and following all safety protocols.


• Maintenance and Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle and equipment are in optimal condition. Report any faults or issues promptly.


• Customer Service: Represent Hubbway Plant Hire professionally on client sites, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.


• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes, risk assessments, and maintenance logs.
  
  Valid UK Driving License: Must hold a Category C+E (Class 1) license.


• Must have an up-to-date CPC.


• Experience: Previous experience driving low loaders and transporting heavy machinery is essential.


• Knowledge of Plant Equipment: Familiarity with various types of construction plant equipment and their secure loading/unloading procedures.


• Health and Safety: Strong understanding of health and safety practices, particularly in relation to plant machinery transportation.


• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.


• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
