Full Job Description

AT TJX, we're looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our Walsall Processing Centre operation fully funtional and running smoothly.

As a Maintenance Technician you will carry out reactive and proactive maintenance on building services and systems within the Processing Centre. You will carry out weekly and monthly legal compliance checks within the PPM guidelines and according to skill level. The role requires the individual to be a team member, flexible and used to working to the high standards set by the department.,

  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly Building services planned maintenance.

  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly compliance checks

  • Fire systems call testing.

  • Fire system pump testing.

  • Welfare facilities checks.

  • Resolution of maintenance requests

  • Site installations both electrical and mechanical.

    Experience of working in a team within a warehousing, logistics or distribution environment preferred.

  • Manually dextrous

  • Electrical / mechanical qualification an advantage

  • Ability to prioritise work efficiently and achieve measurable targets.

  • Good level of computer literacy

  • Logical approach to problem solving.

  • Ability to work at height.

  • Ability to perform multi-skilled manual tasks.

  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills.

  • Ability to be flexible.

    36 hour per week on a 3-week rotational shift pattern

  • 9-hour shifts

  • Shifts either 6am - 3pm or 3pm to Midnight

  • Only working 1 weekend in every 3
