Full Job Description

At Acorns Children's Hospice we offer specialist palliative care and support for children and their families across the West Midlands. We are there wherever and whenever they need us, in the hospice, community and at home. Our aim at Acorns is to help families feel equipped to cope at every stage of their child's life with dedicated teams offering psychological, emotional and practical support.

As a Marketing Coordinator (Graphic Designer), you will:

  • Design high quality marketing messaging/copy that reflects the Acorns brand, values and tone of voice

  • Work with internal teams to support and deliver ad hoc marketing requests

  • Liaise with suppliers to source print quotes

  • Contribute to campaign wash-up reports, highlighting outcomes and learnings

  • Research new and innovative marketing ideas, As a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting organisation, we are committed to ensuring that the United Nations Convention for the Rights of the Child is embedded into both culture and practice within the organisation. As an employee you will be a Duty Bearer for Children's Rights and support all children to be Rights Holders.

    Excellent copywriting and proof-reading skills and experience

  • Highly creative, with an eye for design, layout, typography and composition

  • Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software

  • Experience of working with a variety of online and offline marketing communications tools

    £23,000 to £28,000 per annum (FTE)

  • 37 hours per week
