The role:
The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for assembly and test of mechanical & electronic aerospace components for a variety of customers. You will also be involved in the rework of customer-returned units, this will include fault finding, stripping, re-build, and testing.
You'll have responsibility for the assembly, test, strip down, and repair of aerospace components whilst supporting engineering/quality investigations and project work.

You'll have strong experience of working on Mechanical or Electronic components and will need to demonstrate your understanding of detailed drawings & other documentation to aid this requirement. Minimum of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or time served experience or a similar level of knowledge and experience. You'll be proactive and able to work within a team to drive solution. Previous Aerospace experience is an advantage.
