Medical Negligence Solicitor

Due to ongoing growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Medical / Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our central Blackburn based accredited, and full-service law firm.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of clinical negligence claims, providing legal advice, and representing clients in court. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals affected by medical negligence.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from inception to completion
- Conduct legal research and provide accurate advice to clients on their cases
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties
- Represent clients in court proceedings and attend hearings as required
- Collaborate with medical experts to assess the strength of cases
- Keep abreast of changes in legislation and case law related to clinical negligence

Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent
- Qualified Solicitor with practicing certificate
- Proven experience in handling clinical negligence cases
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
