New Market Lead

Reporting to the Director of Growth, you will be responsible for ensuring Global Karting League hubs are delivered on time and within budget. You will quickly gain a deep understanding of the operational processes that underpin the UK operation (GKL:UK), then transfer that knowledge to deliver new hubs to a high standard.

1. Project Management:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end deployment of operational hubs, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.


• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.


• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.


• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.


2. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with operations, sales, marketing, and technology teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of project goals.


• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and implement solutions.


3. Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and identify areas for improvement.


• Drive process improvements and feedback in a structured, methodical manner.


4. Overseas Travel:

• Be willing and able to travel overseas as required to oversee hub deployment and ensure successful project execution on-site.


• Responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws, insurance, sporting regulations, making local hires, leasing premises, attending events etc.
  
  You'll be comfortable working with operations, engineering, sales, marketing and finance.


• You're data-driven, care about the details, and have exceptional project management skills.


• You have the people skills to hire, train, and measure a local team on processes you define., Undergraduate degree from a top university


• Proven experience in project management, particularly in managing complex projects internationally.


• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.


• Familiarity with motorsport industry dynamics and operation a plus but not essential.
