Full Job Description

We currently have 10 mobile event catering units which operate differing cuisines as well as 2 permanent fixed locations in hexham & kielder and a mobile sandwich 'jiffy' van which services local businesses around hexham. You will be working between our management team & the director to understand the business and its needs to then be able to start to take on the daily operations and assist in organising its structure more efficiently.

Good team morale & leadership is key for this role - You must have a positive attitude & impact on the staff. Team work is key especially when working away from home.

We operate at events such as The Formula 1, The Isle of Man TT Races, Glastonbury, The Great Yorkshire Show, Moto GP, British Touring Cars & Winter Wonderland to name a few.

Along side the events we have now started to manufacture our own branded sauces which we will look to sell in well known supermarkets.

A normal working week will be 5 working days a week, the chosen specific days can be flexible in the off season.. 8am-5pm with weekends off however during the event season you may be expected to work over time & work weekends.

  • this business is very complex and full on, it will become a bit of a life style in the early stages while we implement new structure, so please do not under estimate this role.

    With the business growing rapidly we are now on the hunt for a dedicated Operations Manager with background & knowledge in events, Catering & Hospitality. Strong delegation & leadership skills is a must with a 'turn key' attitude working between our management team and the director which will require you to work in our office and away at events during the season. eventually you will take over the day to day operations of the business from the director to allow him to move forward and progress the company to the next level., Full UK driving licence & willing to travel
