Operations Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team in overseeing warehouse and logisctic operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a background in warehouse management systems and HGV driving.

Duties:

- Manage and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support

- Utilise Liebherr crane and other equipment to move and organise goods within the warehouse

- Oversee the implementation and use of warehouse management systems.

- Demonstrate mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Ensure compliance with business processes and procedures

- Supervise heavy lifting activities and promote safe handling practices

- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for efficient operations

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management

Proven experience in team management within a warehouse or logistics setting

- Proficiency in operating Liebherr crane and familiarity with warehouse management systems ( prefreable )

- Mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting and maintenance

- Ability to manage business processes effectively

- Capable of heavy lifting and physical work as required in a warehouse environment

- Heavy good vehivle driving licence
