Painter / Decorator

Mainty Group are looking for a Painter & Decorator to support with our continuing Projects. Our services consist of major planned refurbishment works, domestic and commercial, larger repairs & occasional responsive repairs. Due to the high demand and expanse off the company we are looking for several Multi Trades People in the South Wales and West region.

Duties & requirements
- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks
- Apply paint or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed during painting process
- Follow specific instructions and specifications provided by clients or supervisors
- Perform touch-ups and repairs as needed, Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools
- Familiarity with different types of paints and finishes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and precision in work
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent color vision and ability to match shades accurately
- Strong communication skills to understand client requirements

Business Qualifications & Experience

- Good organisational skills

- Ability to work under own initiative and under pressure and to work as part of team

- Full clean driving licence

- Ability to work closely with outside /contractors
