Full Job Description

We are looking for someone to join us as a Paralegal Apprentice to work across both our Crown Court department and our police station department as a police station rep, working with clients, solicitors and barristers preparing cases for Crown Court trial. Wide range of opportunity for specialisation for the right candidate.,

  • Typing

  • Administration

  • Responding to enquiries

  • Assisting fee earners

  • Case management

  • Instructing expert witnesses

  • Taking client instructions

  • police station representation

  • Briefing Barristers

  • File management

  • Legal Research

  • Preparing and organising case papers

  • Handling confidential and sensitive information

  • Liaising with professional bodies and partners (Courts, police barristers and solicitors)

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Team working, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 9-4/A-C or above) Essential

  • A Level or equivalent 3 x A Levels (Grade A-C) Essential

    We are a family run criminal defence law firm, working across police station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court.

  • Functional Skills Maths level 2

  • Level 3 Paralegal qualification
