Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a brand-new opportunity for a part-time administrator to join our teams in Boroughbridge. Within the role, you will support with viewing and take

lead on a wide range of general administrative duties, as well as working closely with the estate agency to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Reporting structure

The role reports to the Branch Manager.

The role and responsibilities:

  • Typing of letters, emails, reports, creating excel schedules etc

  • Arranging viewing appointments and gaining feedback

  • Registering applicants and maintaining records

  • Dealing with telephone calls, emails and web enquires

  • Follow up on calls, appointments, and other enquiries.

  • Photocopying, scanning, printing & electronic filing as well as Outlook email management.

  • Upkeep of filing & electronic filing.

  • Opening and distribution of incoming post; delivering outgoing post to local post office/ franked mail post box

  • Diary management / arranging meetings.

  • Any other reasonable duties, as required, to ensure the smooth running of the office.

    Good general knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Planner, OneDrive. Advanced Excel skills would be an advantage.

  • Good organisational skills with a proactive and problem-solving approach to tasks

  • Excellent standard of written English language

  • Strong communicator; friendly, outgoing with a professional telephone manner

  • Well presented, confident and poised, with warm and welcoming manner

  • Ability to prioritise busy workload and manage time.

  • Ability to act on own initiative whilst also working within Company processes and procedures.

  • Pays a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to deal with clients at all levels, from tenants and landowners to clergy and gentry, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

  • Experience within a professional services organisation is preferred but not essential.

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.

  • Possess a generally positive outlook and enjoy working within a progressive team., GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

  • Administrative experience: 1 year (required)

  • Pay: £23,500.00-£25,000.00 per year

    Expected hours: 22.5 per week
