We are an accredited CIPFA employer, and an ACCA approved employer currently looking for two CCAB (or equivalent) qualified accountants/finance professionals. The Finance Business Partner role sits within Central Finance, focusing on Corporate Accounting and production of statutory financial statements and associated documents, for example Whole Government Accounts. The postholder will report to the Chief Accountant and will lead on Collection Fund and Business Rates Accounting for the local authority, this will involve building relationships with partners across Worcestershire. The role will also produce regular reports relating to the Pension Fund which includes collating investment valuation and performance data.

The Pensions Investment Manager role forms a key part of the Pension Investments Team, contributing significantly to the overall investment strategy of Worcestershire County Council Pension Fund (WPF). The post holder will be responsible for the review investment content for the Pension Fund Financial Statements and production of the Fund's Annual Report in conjunction with colleagues in Central Finance. They will also attend at LGPS Central meetings and deputise where necessary. The postholder, reporting to the Head of Pensions Investments, will also liaise with Partners to ensure the reporting of Responsible Investment and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) issues relating to the Fund. This will be to the Pension Board, Pensions Committee and Pension Investments Sub Committee.
