We're looking for a People Administrator to join our team on a temporary contract up to a period of 12 months. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience within a B Corp environment and gain knowledge of HR in a company that genuinely cares about its people.
You'll be part of our fantastic People team based in Newport and London and reporting into our Senior People Partner, you'll be at the forefront of assisting with our people processes by offering administrative support across our Newport office and retail stores.
You'll play a key role in being the bond between HR and our employees ensuring smooth communication and swift solutions of admin related requests and questions. You'll gain great insight into a thriving and fast paced omni-channel business by supporting our People team with a top notch HR service, which is something we take great pride in delivering.
A peek into your daily adventures::

  • Assisting our People Partners with HR administrative support for our retail stores and Newport office team.

  • Coordinating all starter, change and leaver admin processes and ensuring we have signed contracts.

  • Making sure our employee files are maintained correctly in line with legislative requirements.

  • Ensuring administration is on target for JoJo deadlines.

  • Monitor and action our people inbox.

  • Providing support to employees on admin people related matters.

  • Monitoring and reviewing our administrative processes to ensure we remain compliant and making suggestions to improve efficiency.

  • Supporting our People Assistant where appropriate.

  • Managing and coordinating the long service recognition process.

  • Maintaining and developing the People hub of our intranet to ensure it has the most up to date information.

  • Supporting with driving people excellence in line with KPI's contributing to a great people service and employee satisfaction.

    Level 3 CIPD or studying towards/ equivalent qualification/experience in HR (desirable)

  • Previous experience of working within a generalist HR environment (desirable).

  • Knowledge of Employment Law.

  • Knowledge of GDPR.

  • Previous experience of working with HR systems (desirable).

  • Experience of working with an ATS (desirable).

  • Strong systems ability.

  • The ability to establish effective relationships across all levels.

  • A solution orientated approach with the ability to work with others to efficiently find the best outcome.

  • Ability to liaise with all departments within JoJo.

  • Ability to take direction well and work as part of a team, but also able to work independently.

  • Ability to work quickly and always to a very high standard with fantastic organisational skills.

  • A meticulous eye for detail and able to identify areas for improvement.

  • Ability to cope well under pressure and able to work to deadlines.

  • Resilient to a changing and agile environment.
