Phlebotomist

It is essential that the individual has at least 4 months experience working independently as a phlebotomist , as you will be expected to provide services to our patients from requests made by our clinical team or on behalf of secondary care.

The duties of the role will be performing venepuncture, accurately labelling samples, and ensuring safe storage. You will be expected to maintain accurate records using our clinical records system.

As a clinical research site we also may also require venepuncture services as part of different projects we undertake.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and experienced phlebotomist to join our busy nursing team on a full time or part time basis.

The successful candidate will have venepuncture experience, be highly motivated, work well as a team member but manage their own clinic list. You will have the support of a Lead Heath Care Assistant and be managed by the Clinical Workforce Manager.

We are a large Primary Care Medical team, employing over 200 staff. Our main site is a purpose built Medical Centre located in Hereford City, we also have four branch sites , that we deliver services from.
