Picker / Packer

We are currently seeking a warehouse assistant join our team in an exciting warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking, packing and unpacking chemical orders accurately to ensure timely delivery to customers. We are looking for someone hardworking who has a willingness to learn.

Duties:

- Pick and pack chemicals orders from various locations in the warehouse .

- Work collectively as part of a team to meet deadlines.

- Ensuring all picked items are bagged appropriately in preparation for packing.

- Ensure a steady workflow of orders through to the packing area.

- That all orders are labelled correctly and packaged safely.

- Unpacking of products that arrive from suppliers, To ensure all PPE (personal protective equipment) is used at all times.

To follow reasonable management requests and completing jobs in a timely manner.

Adhere to company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe work environment.

Report any hazards, accidents or near misses to management immediately.

Maintain a respectful and co-operative attitude towards management and colleagues at all times.

We are looking for a hard working, reliable member of staff who is motivated to achieve company targets.

Warehouse working experience is preferred but not essential.

Must be punctual and reliable.

A problem solver with a can do attitude.

Strong communication skills.

Must be able to work as part of a Team.
