Pipework / Mechanical Drafts Person

The role will undertake the provision of technical drawings to projects and discrete work packages in line with the Project Design Engineers Functional Requirements, an agreed design standards and project schedule., This is on a 6-month fixed term basis but depending on workload this could be extended to suit on-going project deliveries. Positions are available for immediate start.

The daily duties will include:

Creation of overview and detail pipework drawings with commercially available CAD programs (e.g. AutoCAD or similar)
Generation of material masters and parts lists
Creation of layout drawings for plant process areas
Develop and modify pipework model designs as requested by Project Design Engineers
Creation of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for plant process systems
Preparation of technical documentation for internal and external customers
Systematic archiving of pipework manufacturing documents
Presentation of designs to internal stakeholders
Attend single and multi-discipline Design Reviews

Completed training in a technical profession
Good understanding of technical drawings
Structured, reliable, thorough and result-oriented way of working
Good written and spoken English knowledge
Experienced use of MS Office tools
