Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Pricing Manager to join our established and experienced Pricing team here at RSA in Leeds on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

As the Pricing Manager you will be responsible for delivering actuarial analyses in some of the following areas: product pricing, risk modelling, corporate planning, reinsurance, establishment of adequate claims reserves and underwriting analysis.Â

You will motivate and develop a small team of pricing experts and develop and implement pricing strategies for an agreed set of accounts and portfolios. You will be accountable for the utilisation of pricing models that use internal and external data sources.Â

In your role, you will drive engagement and be able to drive change within the team and wider departments. You will also support the Pricing Director in the development of the portfolio strategy.

To be successful in your role, you will need to have knowledge and experience in insurance pricing and modelling techniques. Some basic programming skills in technologies like Emblem, Radar, R, SAS, Alteryx would be beneficial. You do not need to be a current people manager as the team are experienced but you will, however, be able to drive change with the team when required.
