We live and breathe a fantastic culture of remote working and you may perform your duties predominantly from your home. However, the heart of Moneyhub is in Bristol and from time to time you will be required to attend company meet ups. Your role may require you to attend client meetings, networking events or group training sessions. You may also be required to work at such other place or places as we may reasonably require from time to time. As a minimum, you will be required to attend a quarterly All Team Away Day at a location of our choice (including overseas).

    We are seeking an experienced and skillful product management professional to join our Product team within Personal Finance Technology. This role is suited to someone who can see the big picture and support delivery of several roadmap streams across a team of Product Owners.

    As a Product Manager, your role will be to be highly influential in developing our roadmap, driving its implementation and balancing that with co-ordinating the needs of clients through creating amazing outcomes and user oriented proposals.

    Reporting to the Product Director this position plays a hands-on and leading role in supporting prospective and existing clients through amazing platform driven solutions. This role will have a wide variety of stakeholders who will be looking for your advice, support and insight when it comes to the performance of the Personal Finance Tech line of business. From Sales and pre-sales consultants, user experience, technology, customer success and clients themselves. This role needs someone who is happy to engage with the market, clients (prospects and existing) and our MD and wider Moneyhub Executive.,
  • Leading a team of Product Owners and providing guidance to them, the business (sales, pre-sales and marketing) and the Product Director in key elements of our SaaS offering.

  • Engaging with clients and the wider market to understand the problems, document the state of play, and come up with solutions that delight our clients and their users.

  • Working with the Product Director to identify, plan and articulate the Roadmap in a way that will create confidence, buy-in and purpose for key stakeholders in the business and clients (including prospects).

  • Working with your Product Owners, the technical leads of their teams, the Senior Tech Lead for Personal Finance Tech and other influential members of engineering to help them develop engineer plans that turn the 'what' into 'how'.

  • Create a close working relationship with the UX team to help form the 'what' and 'how' when it comes to the experience, actions and outcomes of using features and functionalities being defined.

  • Be an active member or the facilitator of prospect/existing client workshops to help clarify scope, purpose and outcomes of customised or innovative items presented to the business.

  • Supporting the propositions team in the creation of go-to-market collateral and strategies for new products.

  • Deputise for the Product Director in their absence, alongside your fellow Senior Product Owner.

  • Working closely with Sales and Marketing to help articulate and demonstrate our capabilities to maximise the take up of the product.

    The right person will have a good understanding of one of retail, banking, insurance or the pension and wealth markets and will apply their commercial acumen to driving the best outcome. This will include balancing stakeholder requirements to refine the scope based on desired outcomes. Experience of consumer products particularly those that help people understand complex financial data would be an advantage as would any experience in regulated and SaaS environments., Significant experience as a product manager leading a team in a SaaS business, creating apps and/or digital products (i) being used by large volumes of users or consumers, and (ii) producing significant volumes of data.

  • Experience in regulated environments e.g. financial services, healthcare and/or government. Domain knowledge specifically in Retail Banking, Pensions, Wealth or Insurance is highly desirable.

  • Experience of Agile methodology both in the form of planning/management and different roles and responsibilities..

  • Significant experience of successfully managing multiple stakeholders (within and outside the organisation) as well as being able to clarify objectives, goals, outcomes and requirements.

  • An understanding of UX and the value of iterative development to the overall success of features, functionalities and performance.

  • Experience in a scale up B2B business at the cutting edge of a new and rapidly evolving regulated market is beneficial.

  • Ability to balance complex requirements from multiple sources with a commercial approach. Go-to-Market experience is an advantage.

  • Experience working directly with developers, ideally within a remote-based environment.
