Full Job Description

This Programme Lead role will line manage and manage the work plan of 2 members of MNVP staff a Maternity Service Project Lead and a Community Engagement Project Lead. A fundament part of the mission of the MNVP will be to fulfil its statutory obligations as set out by NHS England, and work closely with the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to ensure that the MNVP delivers in line with the Three year delivery plan for Maternity and Neonatal Services. The Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Integrated Care System (ICS) have four key purposes: Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare. Tackle inequalities in outcomes, experience and access. Enhance productivity and value for money. Help the NHS support broader social and economic development. The Nursing Directorate supports the delivery of the LMNS key priorities, which the MNVP fall within. The post is responsible for providing professional expertise to support these outcomes and the post holder will provide advice,
guidance and deliver activity accordingly. Additional to the main responsibilities listed above, general duties include: Linking in with managers and members of other functions, to address inter-dependencies and ensure alignment. Work effectively with a variety of external consultancies working on other projects and programmes within other NHS directorates as required. Deliver projects to comply with key performance indicators. Champion equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and ensure that activities take account of EDI requirements.
