A fantastic opportunity for a project manager to join our team in our Worcester office. Working on multi projects, you'll take ownership of all resources allocated to remedial works projects, ensuring thorough planning and optimal resource allocation for safe and cohesive project delivery. Maximize commercial output through proactive planning and innovative work methods. Present new ideas to senior management and develop operational teams with the support of supervisory and project lead resources.

What's the Role:

  • Resource Management: Manage all resources for remedial projects, annually review staff, support disciplinary processes, conduct pay reviews, and identify and support strong/weak team members.

  • Contract Management: Oversee project generation and completion, record opportunities in Easy Bop, plan work schedules, assist with invoicing and queries, create methodologies and risk assessments, communicate compensation events, and update Ops Tracker.

  • Technical Support: Provide operational technical support, assist clients and stakeholders with working methods, and develop methodologies for submission.

  • Business Development: Identify growth opportunities, propose new processes to senior management, and develop mechanisms like smart forms for operational efficiency.

  • Communication: Serve as primary client contact for remedial projects, inform operations team about project wins, communicate project timelines to clients, update confidence levels of quoted opportunities, and contribute to monthly management reports.

  • Health and Safety: Promote a proactive H&S culture, implement "Safety Matters" in project delivery, encourage near-miss reporting, develop safe work systems, conduct six site audits annually, and participate in QUENSH and Operational Managers Meetings.

  • General Duties: Ensure effective support and coordination across all responsibilities, including resource management, contract oversight, technical support, business development, communication, and health and safety

    Be well organised, have excellent customer skills and be IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project

  • Hold appropriate qualifications and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties and NEC Contracts

  • Require a full driving license and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required.

  • Valid EUSR WATER Hygiene (Preferable)

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
