Full Job Description
Assist the orthodontists during patient consultations, examinations and treatments ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Take digital scans, x-rays and photographs as required
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care for orthodontic appliances
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the team in various procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional dental care and who can contribute to the success of our practice., Proven experience as a Dental Nurse, preferably in an Orthodontic or Specialist Dental Practice
- GDC registration - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in dental software systems and digital imaging technology
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team environment and collaborate with colleagues - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times,
- Dental assisting: 2 years (preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 2 years (preferred)
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
