Retrofit Assessor

Unqualified starting salary = £35,000 per year. (You will be required to undertake the relevant training to become a qualified Retrofit Assessor.)

What you'll be doing ???

As a Retrofit Assessor, you'll be pivotal in delivering our retrofit program, ensuring our customers' homes meet at least EPC Band C by 2030. You'll conduct assessments and surveys to identify energy-saving opportunities and support our 2050 carbon net-zero goal.

• Conduct retrofit assessments to identify energy-saving improvements in housing stock.


• Perform stock condition surveys, ensuring accurate data and consistency.


• Prepare detailed retrofit designs, reports, and recommendations.


• Maintain accurate records and deliver timely reports.


• Collaborate with the Retrofit Manager, Data Asset Manager, and contractors.


• Support the Sustainability team with retrofit funding applications.


• Engage with customers and stakeholders about energy efficiency benefits.


• Schedule appointments efficiently to minimise travel and environmental impact.


• Liaise with colleagues, customers, and residents for effective consultation.


• Handle customer complaints promptly and in line with policies.


• Adhere to Health, Safety & Compliance policies.

Ideal candidates are qualified Retrofit Assessors or individuals with an HNC in Building Surveying and two years of surveying experience, willing to undertake training to become a Retrofit Assessor.

Qualified Retrofit Assessor = £40,000 per year.,
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and recommendations.


• Clear and concise report writing ability.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools.


• Knowledge of PAS2035 regulations and standards.


• Practical knowledge of building regulations and construction technologies.


• Commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness.


• Understanding of equality and diversity principles.


• Flexible approach to working hours.


• HNC Level qualification in Building/Surveying discipline.


• At least 2 years of surveying experience.


• Valid UK driver's license and ability to travel., ?? We do not provide visa sponsorship; you must be eligible to work in the UK. ???? You must reside in the UK for the duration of your employment and provide Right to Work evidence.
