As Senior Pay and Reward Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in part of the Pay and Reward Team this role will oversee all service delivery aspects in the team and, in collaboration with stakeholders across the function, will coordinate a series of continuous improvement activities to UKAEA's pay and reward framework, and related systems, policies, practices and guidance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the line management of the Level 3 Pay and Reward Coordinator, including objective setting, performance management and identifying development opportunities and the allocation of work.

  • Use management information and stakeholder feedback to develop a detailed plan of process improvements that improve the customer experience and ensure UKAEA's pay and reward arrangements are equitable and applied consistently. Lead on the delivery of these improvements, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure excellent and professional customer service experience.

  • Responsible for identifying and reviewing all pay and reward policies, practices, and guidance, engaging with the policy and MI lead to ensure information is captured in relevant systems.

  • Be responsible for UKAEA's skill types policy and guidance, ensuring skill types are updated and accurately recorded in UKAEA's systems.

  • Extract and analyse pay data for wider pay and reward projects including holiday pay and yearly overtime reconciliations, gender pay gap reporting, and modelling and implementation of the corporate bonus. From this, lead the preparation of draft reports and committee papers.

  • Lead engagement activities through multiple channels to promote UKAEA's pay and reward arrangements and create opportunities for colleagues across UKAEA to interact with the team.

    The salary for this role is £35,520 + excellent benefits including outstanding pension.
