Full Job Description

  • As a Senior Spa Therapist, you will help support the team of Spa Therapists and Spa Reception Team, making sure that they feel valued, engaged and ready to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.

  • Nurturing and inspiring others to deliver outstanding Spa treatments and develop their knowledge to ensure they feel confident in delivering positive recommendations for our guests.

  • Mindfulness and well-being is your top priority, so you will be passionate about maintaining high standards and delivering memorable guest experiences to ensure that all clients leave feeling on top of the world and with a clear mind.

  • You will be helping to lead the team in the effective delivery of department goals, planning and organising work activities, seeking to continuously improve ways of working and engaging the team to do the same.

  • Most of all we will want you to be inspired, have fun and enjoy being part of our Hand Picked Team.

    Previous experience as a Spa Therapist, working in a luxury 4/5 star Hotel Spa environment is required for this role.

  • You must have current UK Spa Qualifications, NVQ Level 3,and are confident in demonstrating these skills, able to carry out all treatments including facials, massage, nail and feet treatments including gel nail application.

  • Being driven to deliver outstanding and memorable customer service will be your passion and motivation.

  • You will be excellent at building a rapport with colleagues and guests.

  • Most of all, you will have a professional, organised and friendly approach and be able to anticipate our guests needs and create memories.

    We are currently recruiting for a Senior Spa Therapist at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels.
    One of the best luxury hotels in Wetherby, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa, is a beautiful award-winning country house retreat promising peace and tranquillity with every stay. Originally built as a country retreat for the Scott family, Wood Hall Hotel & Spa in West Yorkshire is a world away from everyday stresses and pressures.

    The hotel offers 44 stylishly-designed bedrooms, an award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a small health club and spa, renowned as one of the most luxurious spa venues in West Yorkshire. All of these attributes make Wood Hall Hotel the perfect destination for a romantic break, a family getaway or simply some rest, relaxation and pampering.

  • A competitive salary package of £31,865.60 per year, additional hours will be paid at the hourly rate of £15.32, plus a share of service charge.

  • This is a Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business needs. Shifts will be varied, Mon-Fri 6.00am - 2.30pm or 1.00pm to 9.30pm. Saturday & Sunday 6.30am - 3.00pm or 11.30am - 8.00pm.
