Full Job Description

This is an exciting and rewarding time to join Child Friendly Dudley in a Social Worker role. We are building on our established restorative practice model by re-designing our directorate and implementing the Family Safeguarding model to ensure we focus on children first and place them at the heart of all we do. You will be joining a well-established team, with case direction and regular supervision led by a supportive management team.

We currently have an opportunity available in the Childrens' Disabilities Team to take the last sought-after Social Worker vacancy, and you will hold a caseload of our children needing the most skilled help, and share your expertise with others through modelling, peer support, group, and reflective supervision amongst other learning activities.

You will be a registered social worker with experience of working with children and families in a statutory social work setting. Experience of working with those who have disabilities would be beneficial but not essential. You will be dynamic, child-centred and driven to achieve strong outcomes for our children, skilled in providing support and challenge to colleagues and families and creating change., We are recruiting Qualified Social Workers with a minimum of 12 Months post-qualifying experience.

Top tip when applying - As we've got a new recruitment system the application process has changed a little and we hope you'll like it!

You'll first need to register and create a profile the first time you apply.

Creating your profile will enable you do things such as track your application progress, view emails you've received from us and manage communication preferences, manage your interview bookings and offer information if successful.
