Full Job Description
Sous Chef required for popular pub/bistro outside of town centre.
Hours - Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 10am - 9pm (days and hours are negotiable - we are happy to work around the right applicant).
Must have relevant experience, be passionate about providing outstanding food and be able to work in a fast paced environment, staying calm under pressure.
Duties will include:
- Ordering of fresh produce
- Rotation & ordering of dry store stock
- Monthly rota of kitchen staff
- Maintaining & implementation of Hygiene and safety protocols to comply with regulations.
- Ongoing training for kitchen staff
- Updating EPOS system with new menu items
- Regular recipe and menu updates to keep food offering fresh, with support from our Chef owners.
- Occasional cover for outside catering events (additional hours available)
