Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative within our Distribution team who will ensure orders are picked, packed and ready for national and global distribution on a daily basis. The role requires a high level of dexterity and someone who understands the importance of Health and Safety as you will be working with tweezers and liquid nitrogen. The role also requires some data entry so a good level of IT skills (MS Office) is required.,

  • To work in store and ensure that stocks are accurately picked and packed according to daily schedules.

  • To complete all relevant documentation ready for dispatch

  • To ensure that the stores and your working area are kept clean, tidy, and free of hazards.

  • To support distribution drivers locally, on an irregular basis

  • To comply with Company policy and best practise in security, legal and regulatory compliance

  • To complete any other duties as required from time to time.

    Quick learner and has experience of learning new procedures.

  • Be able to work in a physically demanding role.

  • Experience of working to tight deadlines.

  • PC literate with experience of MS Word and Excel.

  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills and be task driven.

  • Full Driving Licence as some driving may be required using company vehicle.

  • Writing and reading small text on straws for Technicians.
