Full Job Description

  • Structural Analysis and Design: Perform structural analysis and design for a variety steelwork connections using relevant software and tools.

  • Technical Drawings and Specifications: Prepare detailed technical calculations and specifications to meet project requirements.

  • Site Inspections: Conduct site surveys for compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including surveyors, CAD Technicians and other structural engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve design and construction issues promptly.

  • Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related field).

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structural design engineering.

  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools such as: Tekla, TEDS & S-frame.

  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Certifications: IStructE or ICE Chartership or working towards, desirable but not mandatory., Diploma of Higher Education (required), Structural Engineering: 3 years (required)
