Structural Engineer

We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our successful Structures team in Ipswich.

What does the role involve?

As a Structural Engineer in the Building Structures team at Sweco, you will carry out the design of structural engineering schemes, including the preparation of structural design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical information. You'll undertake site surveys, write reports, prepare and check designs, drawings and calculations, whilst liaising with clients, professional advisors, in house teams and the general public., Approachable and committed people are the core of our business. Serving our clients in challenging projects is part of our daily work.

A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, along with experience in a similar role.
Knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to liaise with people at various levels.
