Full Job Description

You will work within a small, caring and enthusiastic team providing short breaks for children & young people with disabilities and complex health needs in order to provide respite to their parents or carers.

You will support children and young people to enjoy a mix of exciting leisure activities and encourage appropriate friendships within a group setting, both within a community base and in the wider community., We are signed up to the Greater Manchester Continuous Service Commitment ensuring that your service will be continuous or 'unbroken' between the supporting organisations.

The Leisure for All team offers leisure time activities in the evenings, weekends and during school holidays to children and young people aged 5-19 years inclusive with disabilities and complex health needs.

Leisure for All is running groups with carefully matched age and peer groups and offering meaningful and enjoyable activities.

You will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and you'll be a great communicator. Experienced in working with children and young people, you will take pride in the work and be ready for the challenges and responsibilities that go hand in hand with the role.

Salary : Grade 5, £24,702 - £27,334 per annum. £12.80 - £14.17 per hour ( pro rata based on 37 hours per week)
