Full Job Description

  • Support of Sub-System Qualification and System Qualification Testing of Typhoon Training Devices both including:

  • Production of Sub-System Qualification Test Procedures

  • Support the production of System Mission Profile Qualification Test Procedures

  • Production of Qualification Test Reports for all phases of testing

  • Change Tracking and Query investigation including:

  • Assessment of Aircraft Changes on Qualification Test Procedures

  • Assessment of System Defects

  • Assessment of Customer Queries, This is a varied and active role in the development of High-Fidelity Aircraft Training Synthetic Simulation to support aircrew training requirements for the UK and overseas Customers. You will work as part of a dynamic team designing, developing, testing, integrating, and maintaining the software solution.


  • There will be the opportunity for periods of travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas, and career progression and development is encouraged within the team and wider business.

  • A degree / HNC / HND in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant demonstrated experience

  • Experience of the Engineering lifecycle

  • Good Communications skill both written and verbal

  • Good presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex designs issues to a wider audience

  • Excellent problem Solving skills


  • Desirable:
  • Mission Systems knowledge and experience

  • Configuration Management Tool experience

  • Understanding of simulator products
