Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead our BIM services team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the sales team to gain new customers, understand client needs, and manage project delivery. This role involves client interaction, project management, team leadership, and active participation in product development meetings., Client Engagement and Sales Support:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to acquire new customers.

  • Join introductory meetings to understand client requirements.

  • Review client documents and estimate project delivery hours.

  • Prepare project proposals, including time estimates and schedules.

  • Address client queries during the proposal phase.

  • Assist the sales team with software license sales by attending client meetings.


  • Project Management:
  • Schedule and oversee project execution from contract signing to delivery.

  • Manage the project timeline and ensure the team meets deadlines.

  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to address any issues and provide updates.

  • Collect and report project hours weekly and monthly to internal stakeholders.

  • Participate in internal coordination meetings to discuss progress and plans.


  • Team Leadership:
  • Organize and manage the BIM services team.

  • Prepare yearly roadmaps to set team targets.

  • Provide guidance and support to the team throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Product Development:
  • Participate in roundtable and roadmap meetings to share insights from project experiences.

  • Collaborate with the product management team on software customisation requests from clients.


  • Success Indicators / KPIs:
  • Help win new business through prospect discussions and estimation and proposal creation:


  • Assure timely delivery of estimation and proposal details to the sales team.

  • Highlight areas of issue within client projects and provide details where necessary.

  • Assist in contract negotiation.


  • Nurture current customers with the aim to extend contract duration or add software licenses:


  • Extend a minimum of 25% of current customer contracts, or sell new licenses and services into existing clients.


  • Expand the team through positive business numbers:


  • Solidify revenue streams through long-term contractual terms to ensure business continuity while creating growth opportunities through additional revenue streams.

  • Build the case for a minimum of one additional headcount (HC) in FY24.

  • Complete the transition to Graitec by leading to build trust in the brand through your team.

  • Help the team grow within the organization, make valuable connections, and see the avenues to personal and career growth within the company.

  • Achieve a satisfaction rate 2% higher than the company average in pulse surveys

    High level Revit experience. Minimum 5 years experience as part of or managing a production team using Revit.

  • Excellent knowledge of MWF and associated plug ins related to CNC output

  • Understanding of light timber and light steel construction techniques, with minimum of 2 years in a related field.

  • Extensive project management experience.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, R&D).

  • Understanding of the construction, manufacturing, and software industries.

  • A recognised project management qualification., Excellent interpersonal skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and written communication.

  • Professionalism, personal integrity, and reliability.

  • Positive, hands-on work ethic with initiative and enthusiasm.

  • Adaptable and flexible team player in a fast-paced work environment.
