Theatre Support Worker

As a Theatre Support Worker you will be accountable for ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered and will constantly promote: patient safety, effective care and a positive patient experience at each stage of the patient's journey., In your role some of the tasks you will be expected to perform include;

• Assist registered practitioners within Theatre and the Anaesthetic Room to deliver excellent patient care.


• You will help facilitate the smooth running of operating lists by working within a team


• Prepare the theatre environment before, during and after operative procedures


• Support the nursing staff to maintain clean and safe environment


• Select specialist instrumentation and equipment for operative procedures


• Anticipate the needs of the changing highly specialised clinical environment


• Aid the patient's operative journey
