Trainee Accountant

The Barnes Group Limited is a successful family business based in Ipswich. We are recruiting for a full-time Trainee Accountant to join our Finance Department. 

Based at our Head Office in Ipswich, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the Finance Department whilst studying to become a fully qualified Accountant.

Knowledge and experience of working in a Finance Department is not essential and we welcome applicants with transferrable experience/skills.��

Applicants will be educated to at least A level or equivalent standard, fully computer literate and familiar with programmes such as Excel and Outlook.

You must be honest and trustworthy in all your dealings, have good common sense and a flexible approach to working as part of a team.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail and can work accurately.

If you are a good communicator and can maintain a polite and helpful attitude, you could be what we are looking for.

Salary will be within the range of £18,000 - £24,000.
