Trainee Estimator

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Cuttings West division near Bristol as a Trainee Estimator for our Lightning Protection system installations and to become part of the existing team.

This is a work winning role and generous bonus payments are made for hitting targets.

We are working on some amazing sites such as the Hinkley Point C, Google headquarters, data centres, high rise residential towers as well as listed historic buildings.

Training in Lightning Protection estimating will be given by experienced estimators, but we need someone who already has experience estimating in construction projects particularly as a sub-contractor. Duties will include designing and estimating, site/client meetings, arranging documentation for tender returns, liaising with other team members, clients and engineers as well as other general duties.

The candidate will be responsible for their own tenders, ensuring that labour and material costs are properly catered for.

• A-Level or equivalent (preferred)


Experience:

• construction/sub-contracting: 3 years (required)


Language:

• English fluently (preferred)
