Full Job Description

Your training would follow a structured programme and offer variety which would afford your insight into the different roles available to you as your career progresses. Throughout the role you will develop your technical pensions related knowledge, client relationship management skills, and general understanding of finance. We will also focus on developing your communication, project management as well as verbal and numerical skills.

Trainee Pensions Administrator - The role:

The role will include:

  • Calculating benefits for members; i.e. leavers, retirements, transfers, deaths

  • Maintaining membership records on the administration system

  • Dealing with general and technical queries from members, the employer and the trustees by telephone, email and letter

    Educated to A Level or equivalent

  • Willing to study for pension qualifications

  • The successful candidate must, by the start of the employment, have permission to work in the UK
