Transport Logistics / Warehouse Person

We are looking for Transport Logistics / Warehouse Person for our warehouse and factory who has experience of unloading Goods In vehicles, working in stores, picking and collating pallet loads, loading vehicles for delivery and planning delivery routes for vehicles.

You will be working closely with the production supervisors to group loads together by geographical area for best use of vehicle.

39 hours per week - 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm Friday. Some overtime available.

Duties:

· Operate forklift to load and unload materials

· Stack and organize products in a safe and efficient manner

· Plan transport routes and co-ordinate deliveries with drivers

· Coordinate with production and sales departments to ensure deliveries meet customer requirements.

· Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment

· Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

· Record Goods Receipts on computer system

· Create delivery paperwork from computer system

· Assist with inventory control and stock management

· Valid forklift operator certification

· Must have transport coordination or similar roles preferred.

· Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.

· Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.

· Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar setting

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stacking and organizing materials

· Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and practices

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to drive a 7.5 ton vehicle would be an advantage
