Full Job Description
- To lead by example through adherence to, and championing of all company values.
- Performance and Conduct Management - including completion of routine 1:1s and PDRs.
- Resource allocation.
- To monitor, coach and mentor all team members in line with required skill progression.

- Accountability for all elements of your team's performance and generation of performance reports.
- Accountable for site compliance related subjects of PUWER, EICR, PSSR, FGAS and Electrical duty holder responsibilities.
- To lead team and business function meetings.
- To maintain and lead all Short Interval Control (SIC) meetings.
- Maintain open communication channels with senior management.
- To complete weekly update for senior management and provide data to substantiate.
- Timely communication of team performance and required actions.
- Ensure all communication with other business function team members is professional and constructive.
- Implement and drive a safety culture across the Engineering function.
- To own/manage the recording, and investigation, of accidents, near misses and hazards.
- To provide support with the H&S Team in completing safety observations and actions that arise from area inspections.
- In accordance with cGMP - Maintain ownership and accountability of quality throughout the Engineering team.
- Maintain site compliance with PUWER, PSSR, EICR, FGAS regulations.
- Site electrical safety Duty Holder.
- To assist with deviations, change controls, complaints and QERs including implementation of corrective and preventative actions, within the specified timeframe, and maintain zero overdue actions.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for yourself and your team and identify and report any potential procedural improvements.
- Engage with the Change management process, owning relevant actions and timely delivery.
- Maintain your own and your team's training at the required standard.
- To act as a site subject matter expert for external agencies i.e MHRA.
- To manage the organisation of workload to ensure business objectives are maintained.
- To monitor and report progress of the PPM's, managing shortfalls to support delivery.
- To provide an effective and efficient service to all key parties in the timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- To provide as a permanent on-call point of contact for all escalated issues.
- Identify any opportunities for improvement and engage with all continuous improvement (CI) initiatives relating to quality, delivery, and cost benefits.
- Lead routine area audits across the Engineering footprint to identify compliance issues including facility upkeep and building fabric.
- To undertake any other duties as requested by the General Manager.

- You will be supportive and facilitate your team's development., Knowledge of maintaining regulatory standards pertaining to Engineering systems. At least 2 years of experience leading a team and able to demonstrate leadership behaviours.
- Annual salary: £50,000 - £60,000
- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service)
- Annual company bonus scheme (subject to scheme eligibility)
- Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
