Full Job Description

Park Electrical are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who will work in a team within this large electrical wholesale division. After full training given your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing stock in and out (to external clients)

  • Stock control

  • Picking and packing customer orders

  • Recycling and completing the paperwork associated with a busy Warehouse

  • Picking and packing, goods in and out

  • Liaising with other departments

  • Heaving lifting

  • Driving the forklift - after training given


  • The training you will be getting

    Completing a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Level 2, which will include the following elements:
  • Competence/Knowledge based qualification in Warehouse at Level 2

  • Functional Skills maths/English

  • End Point Assessment - final exam and observation

  • The vocational and academic training aspects are separated and delivered by separate teams

  • The vocational training and assessment are conducted, more often than not, on site according to the employer's wishes

  • Notice of dates is agreed well in advance of a site visit

  • Training and assessment are conducted both on and off the job, according to the needs of the course and the learner

  • Every effort is made to ensure the best result is achieved by the learner

    Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Team working, Physical fitness, Excellent work ethic, Timekeeping, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) Desired, Some heavy lifting maybe involved, working to tight schedules. Time management is essential. Please also ensure you are aware of the location and how you will get to this location each day as there is no direct Bus route to the Industrial estate.

    EDA learning and development will employ you on behalf of this employer. We are a Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency who support and guide you whilst you are completing your apprenticeship within the Branch Location.
