Warehouse / Logistics Supervisor

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for managing goods inwards and deliveries out from our door manufacturing facility.

Daily duties:

• Receiving goods into stock ensuring that the delivery is complete and damage free



• Offloading pallets using a counterbalance fork truck



• Booking goods into stock on the computer system



• Raising any delivery/quality issues with suppliers



• Labelling products ready to be put into stock



• Putting away stock into the correct locations using reach fork truck



• Picking stock and packing ready for customer orders



• Organising any product returns to suppliers



• Generating the correct paperwork for customer orders



• Checking the quality and accuracy of customer orders before dispatch



• Organising deliveries to customers via our own vehicle or carrier/haulier



• Loading vehicles with goods outwards



• Picking materials required for door manufacturing and liaising with production staff



• Ensuring that deliveries are made correctly



• Ensure that the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy at all times



• Ensuring that all works are carried out as per the health and safety requirements



• Working with other departments to ensure maximum efficiency throughout the warehouse

Essential skills:

• Experience of using fork trucks (Certified training will be given)



• Good communication skills



• Warehouse management/supervisory experience



• Good IT skills (Excel/Word/Sage etc)



• Good customer service skills, Warehouse Supervisor: 2 years (preferred)

We are Q-Mark accredited Fire Door & Security Door manufacturers from our factory in Newport, South Wales.


• Monthly paid earnings based on 42.5 hour working week, consisting of the hours 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday (overtime available)



• 20 days paid holiday per annum (plus Bank Holidays) with an additional day for each year's service completed up to a maximum of 25 days.



• Permanent position with standard SSP and pension.
