What you'll be doing as our Warehouse Operative:

• Receive and check loads into the warehouse, ensuring all correct packaging and labelling is in place


• Ensure all stock handled is secure and complies with relevant food safety standards


• Operate assigned mechanical handling equipment to store and transport customer goods safely


• Assist with assembling loads for despatch and onto vehicles


• Conduct quality checks to ensure standards of cleanliness and hygiene levels


• Take action to ensure any hazards are controlled or removed to ensure a safe working environment
  
  Do you have previous experience working in a warehouse and want to develop your career within the supply chain and logistics industry?, Up-to-date licence to use designated mechanical equipment


• IT literate in Microsoft Office packages


• The ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data


• Extensive knowledge and application of warehouse, food safety rules and health and safety procedures

• Ability to use initiative and to be organised so that key tasks are completed fully and on time


• Ability to work to set targets and deadlines


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Proven arithmetic skills

  Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join the team based in Barnsley. You will be working on a full time, permanent basis, working 4 on 4 off nights and in return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £28,704.00 per annum plus excellent company benefits!
