Warehouse Operative - Picker / Packer

The role of the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for picking and packing orders accurately to a set target. Warehouse operatives must be a highly motivated, positive, reliable individual who is physically and mentally able to provide first class working practice within an ever-expanding warehouse environment. The person must be driven to hit targets and can switch across different warehouse operative roles: inclusive of picking and packing orders from all channels, included but not limited to B2B, retail and marketplace orders. They will be expected to assist in any other tasks that are required to ensure the day to day running of the warehouse.

Role responsibilities

Responsible for picking and packing orders

Responsible for achieving activity targets across the trade, retail and marketplace picking and packing departments

Preparing and replenishing stock during the quieter periods

Responsible for the cleanliness of the working area

Must be highly motivated both within a team environment and whilst working alone

Positive attitude in the workplace

Ability to hit targets

Experience with HHT's (Hand-Held Terminals)

Basic computer skills

Experience of working as part of a team

Strong and effective communicator

Excellent time management skills

Impeccable attention to detail

£11.50 per hour. Monday - Friday 8am -5pm
