Welder / Fabricator / Site fitter

Working within a successful family run company, you will be part of a dedicated team. Responsible for building and completing a range of bespoke architectural and industrial fabrications, to individual designs.

We are looking for a fabricator with a background in general fabrication, or related sheet metal work who is able to work from drawings and their own initiative, with a eye for detail. You must have a high standard of MIG welding, experience in 1 - 12mm steel and be able to safely operate work shop machinery such as; bandsaw, guillotine, press brake etc. Site fitting experience of a variety of fabricated products such as frame works, staircases, hand rails etc would be advantageous.

You should be reliable, punctual, and have your own transport with a full UK driving license. The position is mainly workshop based but you will be expected to carry out site work, fitting fabricated products at clients sites, with occasional over night stays.

Additional skills such as TIG / MMA welding, working in Stainless steel and Aluminium would be a advantage.,

  For the right candidate training would be provided with a competitive salary, 1.5 X overtime rate, company pension, 21 days holiday, 40 hours Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm.
