Yard Operative

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck. (Forklift training will be given) Moving supplies to storage areas. Picking and packing orders. Keeping both warehouses and yard clean and tidy. Managing day to day operations of the yard. Making sure Deliveries are signed for and checked. Serving Customers when required. Complete all other tasks which are requested of them. Liaising with their superior when necessary. Delivering materials to our sites round the North West and may also need to be hands on, on site.

Having knowledge of Building/ Roofing materials would be an advantage but not necessary.

Working Hours and conditions: Your normal working hours will be Wednesday to Thursday 6.30am-4.30pm and Friday 6.30am- 3.45pm You will be working outside in the yard and in the warehouse. The work can be physical and demanding with heavy lifting at times.

Forklift Licence and Clean Driving Licence and CSCS Labours card are an advantage.
