A 38-year-old man was injured in what police describe as a "serious assault" in Denholme.
The incident occurred in Main Road on Saturday night, a police spokesperson said.
This morning, West Yorkshire Police confirmed the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Enquiries are ongoing.
