Two injured as Spring Valley woman crashes vehicle into home

PLEASANT GROVE TWP, Minn. (KTTC) – On Thursday, around 7:40 p.m., Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a vehicle accident that damaged a home, injuring two.
According to the driver, a 32-year-old woman from Spring Valley, she was distracted by her phone when she missed a curve and drove off the road, crashing into someone’s home.
Three adults and one child were inside the home at the time of the crash.
One of the adults, along with the driver, received minor injuries.
The Spring Valley woman was issued a citation for using a wireless device while driving and driving carelessly.
The extend of the damage to the house is unknown at this time.
