Perhaps a viewer said it best, “Ashley Reynolds is Springfield’s Attorney General!” Ashley Reynolds is a consumer investigative journalist. She’s the executive producer for the On Your Side segment. Reynolds brings original stories that impact your safety, wallet and health.
Reynolds is known for her in-depth reporting skills and for getting results. For more than a decade she has helped viewers who were wronged. She often exposes scams and loopholes in the fine print. At the end of her pieces, she provides sound advice for all consumers. She has well-known taglines like, “Remember, you should never pay to win.” “Share this story, so we can all help each other.”
Reynolds is an award winning journalist. She has four regional Emmy awards. She won a regional Edward R. Murrow award. In 2018, she was the recipient of the Missouri Police Chiefs Association “Mary Phelan Media Award”. Reynolds has also won several award from the Missouri Broadcasters Association and Kansas City Press Club.
Reynolds was born and raised in the Ozarks. She graduated from Hillcrest High School in Springfield. She has a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri. Before moving back home in 2011, she worked at WYMT in Hazard, Kentucky.
When she’s not producing On Your Side stories, Reynolds spends time with her family, friends and four pets. She’s also a Big with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Ozarks.
