UPDATE

07/09/2024 - In a press release sent to Lifewire, OnePlus confirmed that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be 12.1 inches with a 7:5 ratio display and an "industry-leading chipset."

The company also released details about the Nord Buds 3 Pro, which will have up to 49dB noise cancellation, and an "ultra-wide frequency range of up to 4,000 Hz," with a 12.4 mm driver and BassWave 2.0. In the images provided, it does not appear the charging case will have a display.

Finally, the OnePlus Watch 2R will have "an impressive 100-hour battery life" and will have a dual-frequency GPS. Also, it appears the Buds 3 Pro and the Watch 2R will only be available in Black and Soft Jade colors.

Looks like there's a whole new lineup of tech—a phone, tablet, earbuds, and watch—coming from OnePlus later in July.

Four new devices are coming from OnePlus later this month, and while details are scarce, there's sure to be more news as we get closer to the Summer Launch Event, scheduled for July 16 in Milan.

According to a press release sent to Lifewire via email, we can look forward to seeing the OnePlus Pad 2 (a new tablet), the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro (mid-range earbuds), the OnePlus Watch 2R (Wear OS watch), and the OnePlus Nord 4 smartphone, which the company promises will be "the only all-metal unibody smartphone of the 5G era."

There aren't enough details here to see what features the new OnePlus products might have.

Official details on the devices have not yet been released, however, lots of rumors are flying around about what we might expect. For example, one such rumor is that the OnePlus Pad 2 has already been released in China as the OnePlus Pad Pro. If that's the case, we might see a 12.1-inch tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip that's running Android 14.

Another rumor, based on the image provided with the press release announcing the products, suggests that the OnePlus Nord Buds 3 Pro might have a display case, which the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 did not have. However, there is a note on the product image that says, "Product images and images displayed throughout video are illustrative only." What that means is that it's anyone's guess about what features these new products might have, even if there are some seemingly good clues that suggest what's possible.
