What do you do if workplace conflicts are left unresolved?

Once upon a time, in the bustling HR department led by Sarah, workplace conflicts occasionally arose among team members. Sarah, being proactive, understood the importance of addressing these conflicts promptly. Firstly, she took the time to understand the root causes of the conflicts by listening to all parties involved and encouraging open communication. Be open and ask! Get feedback and know what is the fact and perspective of the other and then appreciate them for sharing Then ask them how would they have loved for it to happen to establish active listening and then only you share perspective

I had two employees who thought and worked very differently. One was big idea thinking and innovative. He could quickly picture what future state looked like and then worked backwards to develop plan of action. The other was systematic and took an agile approach to reach future state– a little step here, another step there. Frustration was the theme with each other's processes. Hearing both sides– I encourage the big thinker to slow down and ensure be brought his colleague along in his thought process. Before discussing future state, start with outlining his steps that would need to be taken and discuss with this teammate. Seeing the steps allowed the team mate to follow along, visualize, and contribute to the process. Success!

Take note of your non-verbals as well!! Most of the time, its not the word we say, but how we say it and how we react to it Hands folded Shaking head Sighs Roll Eye Deep breathes Buts... no no no etc This subtle and small examples are what we need to catch to allow open communications

Find a way forward that both can agree! It has no point if its just "open ranting" or expressing without way forward Unless that is what all is needed but in most cases it is not so get everyone to be responsible and suggest a way forward
