🧠 Delving deeper into #GlioblastomaAwareness, we spotlight a groundbreaking study led by proteogenomic experts from Washington University in St. Louis. Using the PhenoCycler solution, which provides spatial information relevant to the role of the tumor microenvironment, researchers explored high-grade gliomas at a molecular level. By intersecting proteomic, metabolomic, lipidomic, and data from post-translational modifications with existing genomic and transcriptomic data, the study aimed to uncover the complex regulatory interactions that fuel tumor growth and progression and pinpoint regulatory networks that influence the behavior of high-grade gliomas. View the results published in Cancer Cell titled "Multi-scale signaling and tumor evolution in high-grade gliomas": https://bit.ly/4bUGNHY 🎉 Congratulations to Jingxian (Clara) Liu and co-authors! #FridayRead #SpatialBiology #AkoyaInAction #Glioblastoma #Glioma Inside Precision Medicine

🙌 Paying tribute to the relentless work of Dr. Theo Mantamadiotis from the University of Melbourne, who uses our spatial biology solutions in the pursuit of unraveling the mysteries of glioblastoma - a formidable type of cancer. Here's a fascinating view of his work on a perivascular niche in human glioblastoma, showing lymphocytes, macrophages, and collagen 4 surrounding several blood vessels. FFPE tissue was stained using PhenoCycler-Fusion, using a 58-antibody neuro-immuno-oncology antibody panel. Check out our poster in collaboration with Dr. Mantamadiotis, which details the comparative spatial analyses of the tumor immune landscape in different mouse models of glioblastoma: https://bit.ly/4fhqFmW We hope spatial phenotyping research can one day bring potential to devastating diseases like this and help become the treatments and cures of tomorrow. #GBMDay #GlioblastomaAwarenessDay #Glioblastoma #Neuroscience #Oncology #SpatialBiology
